Whispers on the Water is a 24" x 48" oil on canvas that invites the collector into a tranquil, reflective moment suspended between memory and atmosphere. Inspired by the long tradition of lily pond paintings created by artists I have admired, this piece became my own exploration of stillness, light, and personal connection. The soft glow of the lilies, the layered movement of the water, and the quiet presence of fireflies work together to create a scene that feels both peaceful and deeply familiar.
 
The fireflies are especially meaningful to me, serving as a nod to childhood evenings spent chasing them in the fading light of summer.
