There’s something so full of anticipation and wonder about a hot air balloon just before it lifts off — colorful, calm, and brimming with possibility. Floating Dreams captures that exact moment: a vibrant, multi-color balloon resting gently on a spring hillside, surrounded by blooming wildflowers and soft morning light. It’s a quiet pause before the journey begins — and a scene that felt perfect for watercolor. I’ve always been drawn to hot air balloons, and painting this piece brought me so much joy.
